The Do-It-Yourself program is designed to allow those with the time and resources available to save money (thousands of dollars) on their pool installation. By providing much of the required labor & some materials you can save thousands of dollars. By following the simple installation instructions provided by Fiberglass Pools of the Desert you can be swimming in a few weeks and have saved thousands at the same time.
Consider a typical pool installation schedule:
- Pull required permits from local building agency.
- Layout pool per plans and establish grades.
- Excavate hole per installation instructions. Prepare bottom of hole.
- Set pool with crane and level.
- Continue leveling pool and backfill around pool up to plumbing level.
- Connect all plumbing and pressurize to inspect for leaks.
- Backfill remainder of pool and grade for concrete.
- Set and plumb in pool equipment.
- Pour concrete decking.
- Clean and start up pool.
- ENJOY!
